The technology
The technology behind Click Trialware, the On-Demand Software Portal Solution, has been in use by companies around the world since 1999. Although the technology itself is very complicated, Click Trialware has made it very easy for anyone to use on a Microsoft Windows 2000® or WindowsXP® personal computer.

Conceptually, software streaming is very similar to video streaming. In video, you either wait for the whole video to download before you start watching it, or you view it as you receive it when delivered using streaming video.

For software streaming of applications and games, we start with a product from one of our Partners. It is exactly the same as if you would buy it directly from them on a CD-Rom or an electronic download. We cut it up into small "streamlets" and re-package it for software streaming. The whole thing is placed on a computer server, and ready for you to use.
